The crash happened around 9:30 Tuesday morning on Battlefield Memorial highway, two miles south of U.S. 25.
The driver of the other car was taken to UK Hospital with head injuries.
The victim is believed to be in her 50s. The Madison County Coroner is still trying to notify the victim's family before releasing her name. We're told she is not from Madison County.
