The lab was located in a cottage located right on the banks of Lake Cumberland, where many of the cottages are rented out to out-of-owners, people who come down from out of state and spend the summer. But police say one particular individual was doing a lot more than vacationing on the lake.
The cabin was rented by Robert Mouser, or “D” as the locals called him. Police say he and 6 others were arrested for manufacturing meth. Police say they found all the ingredients like Drano, coffee filters, salt, batteries, and other items, found both in the cabin and in a car parked outside. They say they also found the finished product in the cabin.
“I know I'm glad that they are out of here. Because we all have kids. We have to raise our kids here. And this is a good place other than the bad eggs, that come through. But they don't stay long. If we can help out, cause we have our children here,” said neighbor David O’Neill.
