A man faces charges after police say he raped a 13-year-old girl.
The Pulaski County sheriff's office says the girl's mother caught 23-year-old Corey Hughes in the act and attacked him with a coffee cup.
Deputies say Hughes then ran off, but they found him nearby.
While being taken in for questioning, officers they say Hughes ran off again.
He was arrested Tuesday morning.
