A man is facing charges after police say he raped a 13-year-old girl.
The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office tells us the girl's mother caught 23- year-old Corey Hughes in the act and attacked him with a coffee cup.
Deputies say Hughes then ran off, but they found him nearby.
While being taken in for questioning, they say Hughes ran off again.
He was arrested Tuesday morning.
Hughes faces rape and escape charges.
