It wasn’t uncommon Monday to see lots of people coming in from a long day on Lake Cumberland.

“It’s been real nice. A bit breezy but real nice,” said fisherman Jason Cromer.

And extra nice for some establishments like Lee’s Ford Marina, who’ve seen a little spike in boating business on what would normally be a very slow time of the year.

“Yeah, starting to see a lot more boats come in, more trailers the more warm days we get,” said Cromer.

A good day for getting the kids out of the house as well, with temps in the mid 60’s being the perfect cure for cabin fever.

“It puts my 2 year old in a much happier mood…he loves running around outside, makes him happier,” said Sara Tabb, who was enjoying the spring-like day at Pulaski Park in Nancy with her kids.

Whether snoozing as we saw some ducks doing… or swinging on the swing sets….most agree..you can find a lot to like in days like this.

“I like it. I wish it would stay at this temperature every single day,” said Tabb.

“It’s still cool in the morning, but it warms up nice. Makes a good day,” said Cromer
