SOMERSET, Ky. (WKYT) - A couple of police officers jumped into action to save a baby from a fire.
Somerset Police say a woman called 911 Tuesdsay, saying she had been burned in a grease fire and made it out of her Bourne Avenue home.
But she said her 1-year-old baby was still inside.
Police say officers Derek Flynn and Daniel Lawhorn rushed into the home to rescue the baby, who was uninjured.
We're told the mother, 41-year-old Coletta Ayers was airlifted to UK Hospital for her injuries.
