A Mount Vernon woman is behind bars after being arrested in Pulaski County.
Police say 42 year old Alisa C. Mullins was sitting on the side of the road in a car along Elrod Road in the Buck Creek community.
Officials say after searching the vehicle, they found Mullins was intoxicated and found Xanax and Valium pills, plus a syringe.
Mullins is charged with several counts of drug possession and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
