Officials with the Army Corp of Engineers say work on a Southern Kentucky dam maybe ahead of schedule.
David Hendrix, the project manager in charge of rehabilitating Wolf Creek Dam, told the Somerset Commonwealth Journal, if nothing happens, they are still on target to return Lake Cumberland to normal operation by summer of 2014.
Officials had to drop the level of the lake by several feet in order to work on shoring up the dam.
