Department of Fish and Wildlife Officials have confirmed to 27 NewsFirst that a teen was airlifted from Lake Cumberland Saturday afternoon following a tubing accident.
Officials say the teen had been riding on the tube with friends near the Lee Ford's Marina in Pulaski County early Saturday afternoon when he fell off the tube and his arm got caught by the rope.
Officials say the rope caused some of the teen's flesh to pull away from his arm.
The teen is expected to recover.
