Police in one central Kentucky county arrested several drug suspects during a roundup this week.
Versailles Police say on Tuesday, they, along with the Woodford County Sheriff's Office, began serving indictments issued by a grand jury.
Police say ten people were indicted on charges they obtained controlled prescription pills in Florida for the purpose of resale or transfer in Woodford County, as part of the so-called "Pill Pipeline."
As of Wednesday morning, police say seven of those ten people have been arrested.
Also Wednesday, police say they began arresting people who had been indicted on the charge of trafficking a controlled substance.
23 people were indicted on that charge. So far, police say 18 of them have been arrested and lodged in the Woodford County Detention Center.
Police say more indictments and arrests are expected.
