FEMA opened two more Disaster Recovery Centers in Kentucky Monday morning.
One opened in Woodford County, at Fire Station #3 at 1415 Huntertown Road in Versailles. The other opened in Lincoln County at the South Lincoln Community Center at 11650 Highway 1247 in Waynesburg.
Another FEMA center opened late last week at the Rowan County Rescue Squad building.
The centers will be open from 7 a.m. To 7 p.m. daily, for as long as is necessary.
Disaster officials ask people register before visiting the centers.
You can do that at www.disasterassistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-3362.
The centers allows flood victims to meet face to face with people who can answer their questions about available assistance.
"I'll be happy to talk to someone face to face," Thomas Brown, whose home was damaged by flood waters, said. "I hope they can help me with some of these questions."
On Monday afternoon, Madison County was added to the list of those under a presidential disaster declaration. County officials hope a FEMA recovery center will open there soon.
