Police now think the same person could be behind a recent string of robberies.
The crimes happened in both Lexington and Versailles over the past two weeks.
Police are on the lookout for one man they say puts on a Halloween mask and holds up store employees at gunpoint.
They say that man is responsible for robbing several stores in Lexington and Versailles in the last two weeks.
Surveillance video showed the man robbing a Papa John's in Versailles last Wednesday.
The store manager told police he didn't get a good look at the suspect because a skeleton mask hid his face and gloves covered his hands.
Lexington Police believe that same man robbed Marco's Pizza on North Locust Hill in Lexington last week, along with Supercuts on East New Circle Tuesday, and the Subway on East Main Street Wednesday night.
In all of those cases he's seen wearing a Halloween mask and dark clothing.
His choice of clothing is similar to the 'Scream' mask robber police have been tracking in recent years, but investigators believe they are not the same person.
"With the 'Scream' mask robber, very methodical, kinda gathers everyone up, puts them in one place, has one on one contact with the manager or supervisor, and then proceeds with the robbery," Sherelle Roberts with Lexington Police said. "In these other cases, what we're seeing is an individual who does go in, not necessarily so methodical in gathering up all the employees, and then just commits the robbery."
The only description we have right now is that the man has a thin build, wears dark clothing, and a Halloween mask.
Lexington Police are working with Versailles Police to catch the robber.
