She's caught on tape inside this Best Buy on Nicholasville Road. Versailles Police say a woman tries to purchase thousands of dollars worth of items on stolen credit cards, without success, then moving on to the Meijer on Reynolds Road.

"I'm not sure what they got but they did make purchases there and they're still going with what they're doing," says Lt. Daniel Clark with Versailles Police.

Police believe the woman is with at least one white male. They say the stolen cards came from a purse that was inside a Ford Explorer that was unlocked and stolen from a home in Woodford County.

"This is what these people were doing specifically. Looking through the cars or for a car to steal," says Lt. Clark.

It was in the parking lot at the Walmart on Richmond Road in Lexington that the vehicle was discovered. Now they're looking for the people responsible for the crimes.

They also believe the woman and the man could be behind a theft at a Woodford County barn.

"Some blank checks and some horse medication had been stolen," says Lt. Clark.

One of the checks was cashed at a Check Advance in Lexington. Versailles Police hope someone knows whose behind these crimes or can recognize the person seen in this video, which could bring an end to this crime spree.

Versailles Police say the two people could be also be responsible for a lottery ticket theft this week in the area. They say the people attempting to cash the tickets in mercer county fit the description of these two suspects, and the vehicle they were driving.
