CORBIN, Ky. (WKYT/WYMT) - An airman from southern Kentucky died in England when investigators say he was killed by electricity on railway tracks.
Leaders of Ramstein Air Base in Germany say Air Force Staff Sgt. Ryan Austin, 25, died Tuesday morning.
He was from Corbin.
Investigators in Maidstone, England, near London, say Austin somehow came into contact with the live rail at a train station, and was killed.
They say the incident is not suspicious.
Friends say Austin's wife, Jessica, is pregnant, and is due next month.
