A driver hit and killed a black bear on the interstate Thursday morning in Whitley County.
The crash happened around 6:30 at mile marker 15 in the northbound lanes.
Officials say the out of state truck driver was not hurt.
We're told the black bear weighed two hundred fifty pounds.
