The Whitley County Sheriff's Office and the Commonwealth's Attorney confirm former Sheriff Lawrence Hodge was allowed to visit a family member and court official while in Whitley County during a February pretrial conference.
Another pretrial conference set for May 7th was postponed after the federal bureau of prisons alleged violations occurred during Hodge's visit.
Whitley Sheriff Colin Harrell tells the Corbin Times Tribune he never received a complaint from the Bureau of Prisons and never gave an order for Hodge to visit anyone.
