WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - 6am Update 4-29-14:
Dispatchers tell Mountain News both lanes of Interstate 75 southbound near the Kentucky/Tennessee state line are back open this morning following Monday night's crash.
We're following a developing story out of Whitley County.
The Whitley County Sheriff's Department reports Interstate 75 southbound is down to one lane at mile marker number five, near the Kentucky/Tennessee state line due to a crash involving a tractor trailer.
It happened about 10:45pm Monday night.
We are told the truck crashed into the median and about 100 gallons of diesel fuel has leaked from the truck.
A cleaning crew has been called to the scene, but we are told it could be several hours before both lanes are back open.
Police ask you to use caution if you are traveling between Williamsburg and Jellico, Tennessee.
