Investigators say the woman killed in a wreck Thursday in Whitley County was wanted in connection to a Craigslist scam in Anderson County, Tennessee.
Shannon Lefew was a passenger in the car that ran off the road and hit a truck parked in the emergency lane on I-75.
Police say Lefew would place ads, getting victims to deposit money on a rental home that she didn't own.
The driver of the car, William Linton, 30, of Lancaster, was injured.
