A school bus crash in Clark County injured five students and the bus driver Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on Highway 15, near the Clark County Fairgrounds. That's east of Winchester.
Emergency crews say all of those injured were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Witnesses describe a scary scene, as the bus ended up on its side.
"I just heard tires squealing when I came outside, and walked down this way," witness Amanda Palmer said. "I saw the bus over on its side and I got a little closer and noticed there were kids on the bus."
Emergency crews say the students on the bus were from Pilot View Elementary in Clark County. They all escaped from an emergency exit at the top of the bus, because as student Gaylen Arnett explains, "It was the only thing that would open."
Officials say the students and the driver had already exited the bus by the time they arrived on scene.
Investigators think the wet road played a role in the crash.
Shortly after the crash, the students were all allowed to go home with their parents.
