Crews say crashes at spot on I-64 are becoming common problem

A tractor-trailer crash on I-64 in Clark County causes a traffic snarl.

It happened around 7:30 Tuesday night on I-64 eastbound in Clark County near exit 95.

Crews say this is the 5th accident involving a tractor trailer and wet roads at that location.

The driver lost control on a curve. He managed to keep his empty trailer from flipping, but did puncture his diesel fuel tank leaking as many as 50 gallons onto the ground. With construction in the area, first responders say this has become one of the most dangerous places on the interstate.

The driver was not seriously hurt.
