You really can buy just about anything online.

"I was looking on eBay for just American flags in general and I remembered that not a lot of companies make this size," says Jacob Moore,a flag collector from Winchester.

Moore started collecting American flags at an early age, "I've been loving flags all my life but never really started collecting until I was about 8."

As his collection continues to grow, so does the size of the flag,"The owner I got it from he said it was too big and took up too much space in his office."

But, it was the perfect size for this patriotic man. It is 50X80 and weighs100 pounds. It's too big to open up in his own backyard so to enjoy it, he takes it to the park.

It's no easy job unraveling a flag this large, but Jacob tells me it is worth the hard work, "In my opinion we live in the greatest country in the world and this is the symbol of that country. It's just an honor and a real treat to own this."

Moore has plans to make the small repairs the giant flag needs. Once that is complete, he has big dreams of sharing one of his most prized possessions.

"I want to get it restored. It just needs minor repairs. There's a few little tears and places around the edge, where the seam has popped loose. I just want to get it repaired and maybe clean it the best I can. Hopefully, rent it out or loan it to like some kind of event, or a parade, or a veterans event like that," says Moore.
