The eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 have reopened after an injury accident Monday morning in Clark County.
Emergency workers say the accident at the 99 mile marker involved four vehicles.
Rescuers had to cut at least one person from a vehicle.
Sheriff's deputies say it started when a Camaro overturned in the eastbound lanes just before 6:30 a.m.
Before first responders arrived at that accident, a Blazer crashed into the Camaro.
"Witnesses stated it was a black vehicle on its top, the lights were not toward oncoming traffic so it was difficult to see," said Chief Deputy Paul Howard with the Clark County Sheriff's Department.
Two other vehicles couldn't avoid the mess and crashed as well.
A woman in the Camaro suffered a head injury and was taken by ambulance to UK Hospital.
One other person went to the hospital in Winchester.
I-64 was closed for about one hour.
