A food bank has a brand distribution center in central Kentucky.
God's Pantry has officially named its Winchester facility in honor of the "Come to the Table Campaign"which raised millions of dollars for the new building.
The new 46,000 square foot warehouse on Enterprise Drive was formally named the Pine Branch Coal Distribution Center, in honor of donors David and Susan Duff, and their company.
God's Pantry leaders say the addition of the warehouse is vital, because their Lexington warehouse on Jaggie Fox Way is undergoing renovations.
Facilities help God's Pantry reach one of seven Kentuckians. That adds up to 211,000 people each year in 50 different counties.
The Duff family, who lives in Perry County, donated to God's Pantry after seeing the work the organization does. Now, they're encouraging other to do the same.
"I think that God's Pantry is an organization that helps all Kentucky citizens either directly or indirectly. They have such a mission and will continue to be here," Susan Duff, with Pine Branch Coal.
God's Pantry plans to enhance its Prestonsburg facility and add centers in London and Morehead.
