Crews in Clark County were busy battling afire at a historic building in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Flames broke out just before four at the College Park Apartments on College Street in Winchester.
We're told an officer in the area spotted smoke and called the fire department. Firefighters had to battle flames in the both the basement and upstairs of the building. Crews called for a second wave of help to get the flames extinguished.
There were no reports of injuries.
The building had been converted into four apartments, but they were all vacant at the time of the fire.
The owner of the building says firefighters told him they believe the cause of the fire is electrical, and the fire started in the basement.
The flames spread throughout the house and damaged the interior so badly, the home may have to be torn down.
The owner believe the home was built in the late 1800's, making it one of the oldest buildings in Winchester.
