UPDATE: Laurel County man found safe

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A Golden Alert was canceled Saturday after an 85-year-old man was found safe.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office reports James B. Thompson went missing Friday afternoon.

They say he was found safe in Mercer County Saturday morning.
