MOREHEAD, Ky. (WYMT) - Officials with the City of Morehead announced restrictions of the city’s park Thursday due to an increase of COVID-19 cases.
While the park itself remains open, city officials closed the outside basketball courts, skate parks and playground equipment.
A city clerk tells WYMT the walking track, fields and the dog park remain open.
Officials say they are doing this to try to prevent the spread of the virus.
If you have any questions, you should contact the parks and recreation office.
