Police: Man runs off after getting hit by train

PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WSAZ) - A man was taken to the hospital Saturday after police say he was hit by a train, but then took off.
Prestonsburg police say it happened at Water Gape Road and Route 302 Saturday evening.
Police tell WSAZ the man was found and taken to Pikeville Medical Center for serious injuries.
We’re told he was conscious and oriented when he was taken to the hospital.
