LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - This pattern looks a whole lot like you would expect the first month of the year to look.

Temperatures shouldn’t get out of hand on either side. I think highs should come in around the normal territory. Plus or minus about 3-5 degrees. Overall, this looks like January and it is a good thing it does because that is exactly when we are around here.

It looks like we have a close call later this week. That is when It looks like a wave of energy will pass just south of us and spread some snow in on us. Almost everything I see has it mainly impacting southern and eastern Kentucky. I do not think that will hold true by the time we reach it. Most of us will have a shot at seeing a little bit of something from that system.

It is another Tuesday, and every day we move forward is a day closer to a return to our ordinary world. All signs suggest that we are finally nearly there! Take care of each other; we’ve got this!
