LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Good morning! We are waking up to some dense fog in eastern Kentucky and a muggier feel.

This isn’t the case everywhere as Lexington and areas to the north and west are seeing clearer skies and temps in the upper 60′s. Today’s forecast will be a mix of clouds and sunshine. Of course with all of the moisture in the area, we can’t rule out a stray shower or storm, but most of us will be in the clear. Humidity levels will be high and while temps will get into the mid to upper 80′s, the moisture will make it feel like the 90′s.

Tomorrow will be similar temperature-wise, but with a better chance for showers and storms as a cold front moves through. This will significantly drop the humidity levels into next week. Monday will be gorgeous with clear skies and low 80′s. Tuesday another cold front will come on by and storm chances will increase with temps in the upper 70′s. Wednesday into Thursday will feel more like fall with temps in the mid to upper 70′s, low humidity, morning temps in the low 50′s, and partly cloudy skies. L Friday we could see our next system roll on by and temps will come on back to average in the 80′s.

I hope you all have a great day and an even better weekend:)
