BREATHITT COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - An arrest citation is revealing new details about the death of 10-year-old Jayden Spicer in Breathitt County.

The citation says Jayden’s mother, Felicia Gross, admitted to giving him a type of sleeping medication, believing it caused a fatal medical emergency.
She told investigators she then took his body to a wooded area on Canoe Road near Joe Little Fork, where it was buried in a plastic tote.
“I don’t see how a parent could react in that manner or fail to react and not get their child help,” said Jeff Turner, who created the reward for Jayden’s return home.
Kentucky State Police says Jayden’s remains were found there on Tuesday and sent to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
According to the citation, Gross also coached two of Jayden’s siblings about what to say when they were interviewed several days before her confession.
“You just don’t think something could happen here in your hometown, but when it did, it was like ‘oh, wow, that’s mind blowing to me,” said Kasey Burton, who hosted a vigil for Jayden.
Gross is now charged with manslaughter, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, falsely reporting and witness tampering.
She is being held at the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
“Justice is being served and I just want to honor him, He was a baby, but I’m just happy he was found and now he can be put to rest in a proper way,” Burton added.
