Danville man arrested after allegedly trying to hit woman with vehicle

DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) -A man was arrested in Danville Thursday morning after police said he tried to hit a woman with his vehicle.

Christopher Devine, 42, of Danville, is charged with wanton endangerment, fourth-degree assault-domestic violence and multiple traffic offenses.

Devine is alleged to have tried to hit the victim on Duncan Hill as she left the area following what Danville police said was a domestic assault.

His vehicle was quickly found near 2nd Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard. Devine was arrested and booked at the Boyle County Detention Center.

The victim did not require medical attention, according to police.
