Destiny Quinn co-anchors WKYT’s 7 to 9 a.m. shows on the CW Lexington with Mariah Congedo and 10 a.m. Midmornings with Victor Puente.
Destiny was born and raised in Jonesboro, Ark., and attended Arkansas State University. She graduated with a master's degree in Media Management and completed her undergraduate degree in Multimedia Journalism. Throughout her college years, Destiny competed in pageants to gain public speaking experience and scholarship money. She made the Top 10 twice at the Miss Arkansas pageant and represented her school as Miss Arkansas State University. Back then, Destiny could be found most weekends in the fall on the sidelines of the football field as a proud and spirited Red Wolves Dancer.
Destiny started her journalism career as the weekend anchor/reporter for KAIT-TV in Jonesboro. She was promoted to mornings and anchored the newscast for two years. She is a second-generation journalist and, for a time, worked alongside her mother, who has anchored the news for three decades in her hometown. Destiny jumped over 100 markets in March 2021 to become the morning anchor for KVOA in Tucson, Arizona. She spent two years in the desert and quickly fell in love with the Southwest.
She started at WKYT in March 2023 and is excited to learn all about the Bluegrass state, horse racing, and UK basketball!
Destiny is married to Roelf and has two fur babies, Charlie and Hazel. She loves spending time with family, trying new things and traveling.
