Veterans saluted with each Honor Flight

Sponsored - Honor Flight Kentucky salutes our nation’s veterans on this Veterans Day, and with every flight. The non-profit organization has one mission: To fly our World War II, Korean War and Vietnam veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit their respective memorials and reflect upon their service, sacrifices, and memories – all free to these heroes.

This year, more than 280 veterans have traveled to Washington, D.C., on an Honor Flight Kentucky trip.

“Each flight is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to the brave men and women who’ve served this great country,” said Honor Flight Kentucky Board Member Phillip Pittman.

This Veterans Day, you are invited to help spread the word about Honor Flight Kentucky’s mission by encouraging veterans to apply or by pledging your donation to help send our heroes to visit these memorials in Washington, D.C.
