3.8 earthquake rattles Illinois town near Kentucky border

ALBION, IL. (WKYT) - An earthquake rattled a small town in Illinois not far from the Kentucky border Tuesday morning.

The United States Geological Survey says a 3.8 magnitude earthquake was registered at 7:47 a.m. in Albion, Illinois. Albion is 38 miles NNW of Evansville, Indiana, which is just across the Ohio River from Kentucky.

There are no reports of damage or injuries.
