Abandoned Estill Co. home destroyed in early morning fire

Crews were called out early Christmas morning to knock down a fire in Estill County.
According to the fire department, a report of a structure fire on Crooked Creek Road just before 3:00 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, they say an abandoned single-story home was fully engulfed, with a collapsed roof and walls.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and cool hot spots.
The fire department says they were able to clear the scene by about 6:00 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
