Adam Burniston's Forecast | Cool air gets replaced by summer sizzle
Below-average temperatures and low humidity continue for another day, but soon a summer-like feel returns to the forecast with storm chances.
For your evening ahead, expect amazing and cool conditions as we start to cool down into the 60s and 50s. Light to moderate winds will also stay with us this evening and tonight as well with mostly clear skies. By later tonight and into the overnight hours, we will then see temperatures fall into the 40s, providing a bit of a chilly feel.
By Monday, morning temperatures will be the coolest of the week, starting in the mid to lower the 40s. Fortunately, throughout the day, we will have low humidity and dry conditions in the forecast. Highs on Monday afternoon and evening are expected to reach into the mid to lower the 70s, which runs just below our average highs this time of year.
We'll continue with the dry pattern through the middle of the week, but by the latter half of the week, another disturbance will provide scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will also be on the rise through next week with the upper 70s expected Tuesday and then mid to lower 80s return by the middle and latter half of the week. To put our temperatures into perspective, our average high this time of year is around 78.
