LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - The Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville is closing at the beginning of next year to make some major improvements.
According to the Courier Journal, the center will close for five days in January for the renovations.
The center opened 12 years ago in the boxing champion's hometown.
A quarter of a million dollars will be spent on new flooring.
The center is also getting a redesigned shop as well as other touch-ups.
