Bath Co. barn catches fire, multiple crews assist in response

A large barn fire caught the attention of the Salt Lick Fire Department and a few others in Bath County Thursday evening.

The fire department says a 20,000 square-foot barn used for storing hay was engulfed by flames, emitting a strong column of smoke that was visible from several miles away.

The Salt Lick Fire Department relied on some assistance from surrounding departments to fully extinguish the flames.
