Police are investigating how a New Yorker ended up dead in a Laurel County lake.
Kentucky State Police say 21-year-old Andrew Ku's body was found by a fisherman on Sunday afternoon in Laurel River Lake near the marsh branch boat ramp.
Police say they don't know what Ku, who's from New York City, was doing at the lake.
Preliminary autopsy results indicate drowning as Ku's cause of death. Complete results are pending toxicology testing.
State Police confirm that they've contacted Ku's family.
Detectives are handling it as a death investigation at this time.
