Boil water advisory lifted for Morehead Utility Plant Board customers

MOREHEAD, Ky. (WKYT) - The boil water advisory for some people in Rowan County has been lifted.

Morehead Utility Plant Board customers no longer need to boil their water before drinking or using it.

A message on the Rowan County Schools website said the weekend rainfall and flooding caused a water emergency that forced them to cancel class on Monday.

The boil water advisory has NOT been lifted for Rowan and Bath County water customers.
