Joseph Kelly changed his plea in court Thursday. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter, wanton endangerment and DUI stemming from a September 2017 crash which killed Linda Gill of Garrard County.

Police say Kelly was under the influence when he crashed his Jeep into a pickup in Danville. A passenger in Gill's vehicle was also injured.

Gill was a wife of 44 years and the mother of recently adopted little boys. Her husband was in the courtroom as Kelly admitted to the charges.

Kelly is still awaiting his formal sentencing.
