Cat suffers critical injuries after being shot in Paris
A woman in Paris wants to know who is responsible for shooting her cat.
Melissa Willoughby says someone shot her cat, Willie, on Saturday afternoon on Holly Lane.
"To think that somebody was that evil, was that mean, to go out of their way to shoot an innocent animal," Willoughby said. "He was screaming in pain and couldn't walk at all."
Doctors say it appears whoever shot Willie with a pellet gun did it from close range. Doctors decided not to take the pellet out of Willie for the time being.
"It's always going to be a fear of mine that something is going to happen to him again. Or the dog. I can't let her out now without being out with her," Willoughby said.
Friends have set up a
to help pay for Willie's medical bills.
