Hurricane Florence continues to work across North Carolina and into South Carolina. This storm is bringing devastation to much of this region.
That storm will slowly work our way by Sunday and Monday, bringing an increase in showers and thunderstorms. Rainfall from Sunday through Monday night can be heavy at times. A general 1"-3" of rain is likely for most of central and eastern Kentucky. Locally higher amounts are possible in the east, bringing us another high water threat.
Winds will also be very gusty with this storm. Gusts from 30mph-40mph will be possible.
Once this storm passes, temps stay muggy with a daily threat for showers and storms.
