Tropical air continues to press in across central and eastern Kentucky. This is kicking off isolated storms for the next few days and giving us a very muggy feel. Temps will stay in the 80s for highs through Saturday.
Hurricane Florence continues to work into North Carolina and South Carolina through Friday. That system is moving very slowly, causing a lot of devastation.
What's left of Florence moves into central and eastern Kentucky Sunday into Monday. This may still be a Tropical Depression as it arrives. The end result will mean heavy rain and gusty winds for our region. Rain amounts may wind up in the 1"-3" range, causing the possibility of high water issues.
Gusty winds may reach 30mph or better as the center of circulation moves through.
Scattered storms continue through much of next week.
