Chris Bailey's Forecast | Tracking more winter weather

Old Man Winter continues to be an early season problem across central and eastern Kentucky.

Light snow and flurries will taper off this evening as thermometers drop into the 20s tonight. Clouds will quickly increase on Thursday as a weak front drops in from the northwest. That front will bring some light mix and snow during the evening into early Friday. Light accumulations are possible, once again.

This takes us to the weekend winter storm potential. My thoughts remain pretty much unchanged from what I’ve been sharing with you over the past several days.

Some quick thoughts on this potential system:

◾Confidence of a winter storm impact is increasing.
◾The details of this impact, such as locations and amounts, are still not known.
◾All forms of winter precipitation are on the table for this possible storm system
