The Chris Stapleton concert that was scheduled to take place at Kroger Field on April 25 has been postponed until 2021.

The University of Kentucky Athletics posted the announcement on Facebook on Tuesday.

"I was born here in Lexington, Kentucky. And I was raised in eastern Kentucky my whole life. To get to come here and do this and be the first person to play this field and have some friends like Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, and Yola come help me do it, it’s a real kind of bucket list thing for me," Stapleton said.
