CINCINNATI, Ohio (WKYT) - The Cincinnati Reds have fired manager Bryan Price and pitching coach Mack Jenkins.

The Reds, who are 3-15 and last in the NL Central, have announced current third base coach and veteran manager Jim Riggleman will take over as interim manager.

Reds' AAA affiliate Louisville Bats manager Pat Kelly will be promoted to serve as the Reds' interim bench coach, while Danny Darwin, who is the pitching coach for the Reds' AA affiliate Pensacola Blue Wahoos, will serve as interim pitching coach.

This will be the fifth franchise Riggleman has managed in his career. He previously managed the San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs, Seattle Mariners and Washington Nationals.

Price failed to get the Reds to the playoffs or have a winning record during his tenure as manager.
