WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The Wayne County coroner says the body of a man who was found dead in a cave Sunday evening had no obvious signs of trauma.

Anthony Wayne Erisman, 57, is from Somerset, but the Wayne County Coroner says he had a cabin near the cave where his body was found.

Erisman was reported missing Sunday morning and a group consisting of rescue squad members and fellow cavers found his body Sunday evening just before 9pm.

The coroner says his body was found about 200 feet from the entrance to the cave. There were no obvious signs of trauma but the body was sent to Frankfort where an autopsy is expected to be performed Tuesday morning.

No foul play is suspected at this time.
