Death investigation after body found in Estill County

Kentucky State Police are conducting a death investigation in Estill County.

The coroner says someone found a man's body near railroad tracks underneath the bypass, just outside of Irvine.

Kentucky State Police tell WKYT they don't think the man was hit by a train. Investigators say they're also not sure at this time if foul play is involved.

The man's identity has not been released. State police say it's possible they may not release that man's name depending on the circumstances of his death
