FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Work began on the exit ramp from Interstate 64 West to U.S. 127 South at 9:00 a.m. Monday morning.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says it is making emergency repairs to the U.S. 127 bridge over I-64.
Lane closures on U.S. 127 South at the 4.4-mile marker will be necessary for the repairs. Lane closures on the bridge will also be necessary to reduce the load on the bridge. The work is expected to take about five days.
There will be a detour in place. If you want to get to Lawrenceburg, you can use exit 58 then follow U.S. 60 to Kentucky 676 to U.S. 127.
